The Warragamba Catchment, includes the storage's on the Upper Nepean River. It encompass significant portions of Wingecarribee, Mulwaree, Wollondilly and Oberon Shires, as well as parts of Greater Lithgow, Crookwell and Gunning Shires and the Blue Mountains and Goulburn City Councils.

The catchment feeds storage's which make up the main water supply for the Sydney region.
