Around the State - Lachlan

The Lachlan catchment covers an area of 84 700 km 2 extending from the western perimeter of the Great Divide in the east to the vast Riverine Plains in the west. The catchment also encompasses the areas of 23 local government organisations.

The major towns include Blayney, Booroowa, Condobolin, Crookwell, Forbes, Grenfell, Gunning, Ivanhoe, Parkes, Young, and West Wyalong.
