Around the State - Gwydir

The Gwydir River catchment is located within the Murray-Darling Basin in north western NSW. The Gwydir catchment is nestled between the Macintyre and Namoi catchments to the north and south, and collectively, the 3 catchments are referred to as the North West Region.

The main towns in the Gwydir are Moree, Warialda, Delungra, Bingara, Bundarra, Uralla, Guyra and Collarenebri.
