Around the State - Central West

The Central West Catchment Management Board area includes the catchments of the Macquarie, Cudgegong, Bogan and Castlereagh Rivers as part of the Murray Darling Basin in NSW.

The catchment region covers 92,200 km2, from the central tablelands around Oberon, Bathurst and Rylstone to the western plains around Nyngan, Brewarrina and Coonamble.
